Coach Calvin Thompson’s Junior Sizzlers Sports & Education Program (Overland Park, Kansas) serves underprivileged youth, grades 3rd through 7th. The program advocates teamwork and the importance of educational and athletic fundamentals, discipline, and hard work. Our Sizzler semi-pro basketball team provides opportunities for athletes seeking to advance their playing career to the professional level.

Back To School with the Sizzlers
June 27, 2023 thru August 1, 2023 as we prepare for our upcoming season on the court, our players also understand the importance of their actions in our community as well as giving back.
Join us as we try to provide backpacks for elementary and middle school students, courtesy of our Back To School with the Sizzlers program. Contributions are welcome and can include any items middle school students will need for their forthcoming school year, including: notebooks, pens/pencils, glue, art supplies, etc., backpacks, t-shirts, jackets, and hoodies are also welcome.
